Happy Samhain / Blessed Diwali everyone!

The dark time of the year is fast approaching...even here in SoCal where the temp is 80-something degrees and beautiful. :) I hope everyone has a great Samhain and/or Halloween in what ever you do. For me, I've chosen to spend All Hallow's Eve with my very dear friend carving pumpkins and watching scary movies...maybe even getting dressed up and wandering the streets of Downtown Disney is in order as well! :)
I also want to wish everyone a happy Diwali as well. Though I usually celebrate the holiday a little closer to December because of it's obvious connections to light and rebirth, I thought it interesting that the holiday begins the day after Samhain this year. Any other thoughts on that?

In any case, many blessings in whatever and however you decide to celebrate the holidays. If you want, please share some ideas/experiences, tell myths, post rituals...we can all learn from each other.

Blessings and Namaste
