Beltane, Earth Day, Mother's Day, Spring!
Here's a fragrant wine for this whole beautiful time of year:
Ingredients:
8-10 sprigs of fresh Sweet Woodruff
1/2 cup sugar
fresh strawberries
lemon
2 bottles sweet German wine (Moselle)
1 bottle champagne
Green-dry the woodruff for 3 days in a ceramic container.
To 2 cups of the sweet wine, add sugar, some sliced strawberries, lemon, and woodruff. Soak overnight in the refrigerator.
In the morning, pour the soaking wine, the rest of the wine, and the bottle of champange over whole strawberries in bowl.
